Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who will be taking photos for the Yearbook at the prom?
A: Tom Semeraro, the portrait photographer, will be available for custom portraits; he will also be taking photographs of the Prom Court.  Candid photographs will be taken throughout the prom by a Yearbook photographer (a student) and the promgoers themselves.  The photos taken of the court, and the candids by the students, will be used for the lobby exhibit after the prom, and given to the Yearbook.

Q:  What will be the theme of this year's Prom?
Hollywood Boulevard is the theme this year.

Q: Will Juniors need to work at Peck's the day of the prom?
A: No.  We have plenty of help for the actual prom day.  Juniors are welcome to take their time getting ready!

Q: What will be the cost of the Prom?
A: The total cost of the Prom is approximately $16,000.  This is paid for with funds from the Junior Class account, ticket sales, and fundraising.  Our main fundraisers this year were Sally Foster Gift Wrap and Avon.  The ticket prices will be $40 each, and go on sale in mid-March.

Q: Will parents be allowed to come and take photographs of the Prom procession and court?
A: Yes.  The procession will begin at approximately 6:15 PM, followed by the crowning of the Prom court.  Each Junior will be given four family member tickets they can share with whomever they want.  Holders of these family member tickets are invited to watch promgoers arrive in Peck's parking lot, and then enter the Gold room to view the Prom procession and court.  Family members can take any photos they want of these events.  Once these events are over and dinner is served, the prom will be closed to everyone except promgoers, chaperones, and employees of Peck's.
